For the treatment of superficial dermatitis associated with infections of Staphylococcus intermedius in dogs:
- This topical antibacterial shampoo is formulated to remove dirt and scale, degrease the skin and kill cutaneous micro-organisms which primarily or secondarily cause dermatitis
- Treats superficial bacterial skin infections which are common in dogs with skin disease
- Causes of secondary bacterial infections may include allergies, hormonal or endocrine disease or parasitic infections
- It is vital to treat the secondary infections as well as the main condition
- Chlorohexidine Gluconate has antibacterial propertities to fight against most bacteria that is found in superficial bacterial dermatitis
The shampoo should be used twice weekly until the infection has improved; following this, using once every 2 weeks is recommended.
